Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering in our children's ministries at Legacy Faith Church. Please fill out our Ministry Application and Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearances. Once both are completed one of our pastoral staff members will review the information and get back to you about where you may be a good fit! It is a requirement for all of our volunteers to acquire Pennsylvania child abuse background checks. If you have already completed those through work or a previous volunteer group, we can accept them as long as they are not expired (within 5 years of issuance).
Note: An FBI background check is not required if you (1) are not being paid AND (2) have been a Pennsylvania resident for the past 10 years.
Volunteers who are not required to obtain an FBI clearance must swear or affirm in writing they are not disqualified from service based on a conviction of an offense listed in the Disclosure Statement Application for Volunteers. - Service Code: 1KG6V5
Please send a copy of all of your background results and certificates to the Legacy Faith Church office at admin@legacyfaithchurch.com or hand in physical copies to your department leader. *Do not hand in your only copy to the church staff*
